Morgan Stanley's Return-to-Work "Internship" Programme

Returning to work after an extended career break can be a daunting prospect. As part of Morgan Stanley's ongoing efforts to support experienced professionals throughout the various stages of their careers, the Firm is running the Return To Work Programme London, a paid 12-week internship for professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to re-enter the workforce on a permanent basis.

As part of Morgan Stanley's ongoing efforts to support experienced professionals throughout the various stages of their careers, the Firm is running the Return To Work Programme London, a paid 12-week internship for professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to re-enter the workforce on a permanent basis. 

Placement and Duration

The programme is based principally at the Firm's London offices and will begin on 23rd September, 2015.Participants will be placed based on their skills and interests.

A limited number of opportunities exist across the Firm in Bank Resource Management, Commodities, Finance, Fixed Income, Global Capital Markets, Human Resources, Institutional Equities, Internal Audit, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Legal and Compliance, Operations, Research, Risk Management and Technology. 

Participants may receive an offer of permanent employment at the end of the programme, but this is not guaranteed. 

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements 

* Successful candidates are likely to have around five years or more experience in the financial services industry, or another relevant area and have been on a career break for two or more years 

* Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills 

* Problem solving and strong analytical skills 

* Interested in returning to the workforce on a permanent basis
